Remodelling garments with care

Our studio handles redesign consultations, alterations, and garment restyling for pieces that need more than a simple adjustment. Each project begins with a careful assessment of the garment and a clear discussion of what can be achieved.

We work on dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, vintage pieces, and fabric-reuse projects. The result is practical, wearable clothing that reflects the character of the original garment while fitting the way it is meant to be worn.

What we value

Why clients bring garments to us

We focus on practical remodelling, honest project planning, and clothing that remains wearable after the work is done.

01

Garment-led planning

We begin with the garment itself, not a fixed template. That means the fabric, seams, damage, and usable structure guide the redesign from the start.

02

Clear expectations

We explain the likely outcome clearly before work is approved. If a concept depends on the available fabric or construction, we say so early.

03

Respect for original details

Whenever possible, we match original thread and trim to keep the finish consistent with the garment. If exact materials are not available, we discuss suitable alternatives.

04

Careful project handling

Our work includes written alteration scope, redesign concept review, and care and pressing notes so the completed piece is easier to understand and maintain.

Our story

How the studio works

Our process is structured, appointment-led, and shaped by the condition of each garment. We keep the work transparent so clients know what is possible before the project begins.

A studio built on reuse

Needle Craft 58 was founded by Leyla Mammadova to give clothing a more thoughtful path than replacement. The studio was built around careful workmanship and realistic project planning.

From first review to final fitting

Assessment before planning

Every project starts with an inspection of the fabric, construction, and wear. That review helps define the design direction, the scope of work, and a quote based on the actual garment.

Baku tailoring appointments

Approval, work, and review

Once the concept is approved, the remodelling work moves forward with a final fit or finish review before collection. This keeps the process clear from the first inquiry to the completed piece.
